Welcome to Google Sheets
This site was created to provide you with an opportunity to further explore Google Sheets and create your own classroom applications.
You are able to choose any of the tasks to complete in any order.
Google Sheets is a powerful tool for collecting, organizing and analyzing data. Sheets when partnered with Google Forms creates an easy way to collect information and even create self grading assessments. When data is entered into Sheets you are able to easily edit the text like you would in a Google Doc, but you are also able to adjust the format of the data to represent the values you desire such as dollars, time, or other data points.
In Sheets you can use the data and filter tools to help organize and sort the data to more readily access the information you are looking for. Sheets also allows you to integrate functions and formulas to create calculations to assist in the analysis of data and creating charts to represent the data.
In the following modules we will explore tasks to assist you in understanding how to utilize Google Sheets for your needs. While these modules will cover several areas from basic formatting, use of Functions and Formulas, and uses for educators, it will not be comprehensive. There are so many things that can be done with Sheets that it is impossible to cover all of the potential uses or functions available in Google Sheets.
When you complete a task, submit it by clicking on the Submit Artifact icon and earn your certification of completion.
